This workshop series is for Hartford landlords looking to adopt or enforce a smoke-free housing policy on their property. The goal is to eliminate secondhand smoke exposure while protecting your property and creating a healthier city. Landlords are invited to review the four short video clips, download sample lease language, letters for correspondence, and Quitline resources. You can also contact the City of Hartford HHS Department for free signage to post at your properties and to receive certification to complete the modules. Guidelines: Clear instructions on creating the policy, updating leases, and enforcing it properly.
